Boris Johnson goes on charm offensive in King Street
Blond bombshell and mayoral hopeful Boris Johnson met with Hammersmith prospective parliamentary candidate Shaun Bailey for a spot of campaigning last Saturday (15 March). They were joined by GLA Candidate, Kit Malthouse.
All three spent time listening to the views and concerns of shoppers on King Street.
Latest opinion polls show Johnson to be 12 points ahead in the mayoral race.
However, Labour Mayor, Ken Livingstone has countered Boris' points lead by entering into an election pact with the Green party yesterday as part of an attempt to build a coalition in London which he hopes will defeat his Tory opponent in the race to become the capital's next mayor.
The Green party candidate, Siân Berry, called on her supporters to pick Livingstone as their number two choice, and Ken Livingstone has urged people voting for him to select the Green Party as their second choice.
Elections will be held on May 1.
