Teenager Ollie Burton in collision with pedestrian
Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal collision in Brentford.
On Tuesday 11 January, at around 1.15 in the afternoon a Piaggo scooter rider died after being in collision with a female pedestrian crossing the road in High Street, Brentford (near the County Court). The 50-yr-old pedestrian required hospital treatment but was not seriously hurt.
The motorcyclist was Ollie Burton aged 17 from Brentford. He died at the scene despite the efforts of the Air Ambulance staff.
This was the second fatal incident in a week involving a motorcyclist in the area following an accident on London Road in which another local man died.
Police ask that anyone with information contact the Collision Investigation Unit at Hampton on 020 8941 9011. The investigating officer is Sergeant Mark Drummond.
