        As the evenings draw in, now is the perfect time to plan your escape to a magical world of adventure in the far far east. Following the success of Aladdin in 2001, the Lyric is delighted once again to be joining forces with 
        theatrical magicians Told By An Idiot - this time to create a brand new stage version of this award-winning adventure-story by Philip Pullman.
        
        Pullman is best known for His Dark Materials trilogy written for teenagers 
        and adults. The Firework-Maker 's Daughter won The Smarties Book Prize 
        and was written for younger readers. The Lyric’s stage version is designed to 
        enchant everyone aged 7 to 107! The show runs from Friday, November 26 until 
        Saturday, January 22.
