Women soldiers ?

Call me old fashioned and a 'fuddie-dud' but I do not want to see women as frontline troops fighting alongside male soldiers. Some females may have the strength and will to defend and kill, but I draw the line at frontline fighting females. I still believe in offering my seat to a female and lifting my hat when greeting a lady, but no killing please. Enough is enough.

I think it's now all about sexual equality Gerry, and personal choice if women enlist under the new rules then they know what they're signing up for, however it's nice to know there are still some real gentlemen out there

A woman fighting armed soldier is just not ladylike. I know this is the age of equal opportunities for all genders, types and people, but fighting and killing by females ain't right - at least it sits uncomfortably in my mind. Each to his(her) own I suppose.

I really can't see the problem, and I can't believe that in this day and age we're somehow able to stop a lady fighting on the front line of she wants to.
