Refuse Collectors Ready To Pounce

I've been selling a lot of garden items on eBay recently on the proviso that I don't post - it's collection only.So today I had a lady come to collect 2 garden recliners. She parked in the drive and I brought out the 2 chairs onto the pavement. I loaded the first one for her into the back of her car. I turned around to do the same for the second one and got a shock.There, parked by the kerb, a corporation refuse collection truck had suddenly appeared. (Their usual day is Friday). And the 3 or 4 occupants were eyeing the recliner! I looked at them. They looked at me. I grabbed the chair and loaded it into the back of the car. They drove off. I felt like a gazelle being stalked by a lion on the Serengeti.Just wish they were as eager on collection day.

Thai Nice, that excellent restaurant is closed it seems for refurbishment. Quite a few Acton(and Ealing) customers have been asking about this popular restaurant and wondering what news David Archer has about the restaurant. Please David Archer let us know if possible. Thanks.

Maybe they saw you with some "junk" and thought they would offer their services?  I mean its really convenient for you as they were there and surely you could buy the lads a drink?

Haha. The chair was there about 2 mins only. Just time for me to bring it out from the house and load the fist one. That's why I got a shock when I turned around and found we were being stalked. I hardly think the inland revenue would be interested in my eBay transactions - 2 recliners £10, garden hose (unused) £2, flymo £10, quod seats £5. By the time I pay fees to Ebay there won't be much left over. But better that than taking to the dump.

Perhaps the Inland Revenue or the council thinks that you are running a "small business" from your home and want to check up on you with a disguised compactor (and covert surveillance too)? :)

Wow! I wonder how they found out about the chair on the pavement, did someone photograph it and smartphone-submit-it through the council's dumped rubbish reporting software on the website? Or are you under continuous surveillance? :)
