Hairdresser

Any recommendations for a really good hairdresser in the Northfields/Ealing area for a good cut and blow dry.  I'm sure this has been asked before if so sorry but would welcome any suggestions.  Thanks

Oh, I forgot to say, the £5 for a man's short back'n sides without a shampoo is only for OAPs during week days. Sorry for missing out vital info.

It can be as much as £50 for somewhere local and colouring is even more expensive. That's why I'm reluctant to tip.

As a matter of interest, how much do you ladies pay for a simple cut, shampoo and blow dry please?  The cheapest we men pay for a simple short back and sides is £5 plus a tip.

Try Oshair in Northfield Avenue - Eddie is excellent.  Not cheap but less than M & M and MSN

"How do you all feel about tipping ?"I suppose if someone's given you an extra-good service there's no harm in a thank-you tip. Its funny(strange) that tipping is very much expected in America, whereas its rather frowned on in Singapore. Different culture I guess.

Thanks everyone. I shall look up the Leeland Road place. Agree the prices are becoming ridiculous but when you need a hairdo they've got you.  How do you all feel about tipping ?

My missus swears by some gaff in Leeland Road in West EalingBefore that she went to Mo's but when there was a split she followed his missus Margret to MSN hair in Northfields next to The Plough. The place she's using now she says is very attentive and worth it but the cost of women's barnet jobs is scandalous!I thoroughly recommend Andrews on South Ealing Road --- number one all over, banter, abuse, something for the weekend and £7.50 thank you very much!!!
