Perhaps the embassy were checking that hairdressers customers were students following the recent report that male university students in North Korea are now required to get the same haircut as their leader Kim Jong-un

Truly a shame that he cannot capitilise on the nationwide publicity due to the fact that the hinterland from which Mo's customers will inevitably be drawn for a local service like this is rather more limited than the millions (surely it must be so by now) that have been made aware of his business.

It's a cracking haircut though, reminiscent of the really bad toupees that were around thirty years ago one of which was worn by a guy with whom I worked. Jet black which blended in so well with the 'border' of his own, grey almost white, hair. Looked like a cowpat!

mo is also a very good at cutting hair having styled mine in a non Korean way for the last 20 odd years
