Blithe Spirit

We took our family to see Angela Lansbury in Blithe Spirit today.It was a complete sell out and at 88, Angela was on top form and amazing. I only hope I can dance and speak like that when I am 88. She received a standing ovation and I recommend all of you to go and see it before it finishes at the end of May.If you didn't know, it is at the Gielgud Theatre, Shaftesbury avenue.

Pleasantly surprised that these two elderly actresses are still doing their stuff - great entertainers both.

I find her most impressive, though I gather she does have an earpiece in case she needs a prompt. Equally impressive is June Whitfield, also 88 and still appearing in, most recently, Midsomer Murders and Jonathan Creek, in both of which she acquitted herself splendidly.
