Which Forum is the best?

I noticed that there are several forums - Chiswick, Brentford etc.But I think our one is the most interesting and fun forum. Who just wants to read about politics or planning applications. I believe our forum is the best because we like to talk and discuss and debate topics of around the world.So lets keep up the good work.

Well certainly the W4 forum is more active late at night. Any anger and bile does not appear to be off the radar to me.

This question Phillip is different from the original topic, but who cares as its a genuine question? I've always been comfortable and liked the Rose & Crown(off St Mary's Road, next to Ealing church) - beer is OK and the food is tasty. There's a pleasantly large garden too.I don't think I'd like to combine all neighbourhood chat forums together - each serves local purposes and EalingToday is quite unique IMO.

Perhaps stating the obvious, but presumably the "best" forum is a personal thing to you.  Why bother with anyone else's thoughts?That said clearly many go over the borders forum wise(shock horror) so why not combine all the forums? North of the Thames and West of Holland Park of course.

There used to be good rows on the W4 forum -- proper differences of opinion about politics or social issues -- not just childish name calling. A lot of the interesting posters have indeed gone and there's little worth reading on there.

'Lively and varied' Gerry, that's a polite way of putting it! I can't bear to use CW4 anymore, any thread with more than 10 replies has already descended into infantile abuse. Most of the long standing, informative CW4 posters cleared out long ago. Can't say I've any experience with Brentford, but I find EalingToday to be, on the most part, a useful and welcoming community, if a little quiet.

Its difficult to say which one's best - they're all different. I think the gentle and usually polite repartee and banter on EalingToday is pleasant. Chiswick is very lively and varied - some might say a touch 'smart-arsed'. I dunno, they're different.
