Children's Playground Blaze - Cuckoo Park
The fantastic rope swing installed last year has been destroyed by a huge fire. The big thick rope base has been taken away, the supporting poles are all charred and there's a black scorch mark of about 15 feet in diameter on the play surface. A massive fire must have been set there. What a shame! I would have expected that to have been covered in the Gazette. I hope word gets round and the offenders are turned in.
