TFL Bus changes in Haven Green

A consultation has been issued by TfL for buses using Haven Green.For no explained good reason, they want to remove the 65 bus bay of 67 years and merge the alighting and 1st boarding stop to a new location more or less where the Greenford bound E2 and E8 stop.How or where up to 4 65 buses will park is not mentioned and that is quite a regular occurance, 3 is the norm. Currently they can park without causing any traffic issues and I cannot recall ever seeing an incident with passengers alighting in over 40 years of daily use   at this terminus. People instinctively take care.It separates the 3 options for Brentford as well and as the 65 often suffers big delays will make taking an alternative harder by having a  100m dash between stops.The proposed new stop is also at the narrowest point of the east side pavement with no seating and in the path of a huge amount of pedestrians. To boot this part of the footpath is filthy.A classic example of If it ain't broke why fix it?  This is certainly not going to make any sort of improvement for passengers, pedestrians or other road users. The bus stop changes have now taken place

I am in talks with TfL to have installed an extra bus stop on the E8 and 195 route along the Boston Manor Road. Look out for it!

I use the Brentford bound buses, and would much prefer the new arrangements. The 65 having it's own unique stop (the one currently used by the 226 & 297). I can see them parking on the Green like the 226,297s do mostly now, as the bus lane on the north side of the green would allow them quick access back to stop C. After all, the 65 serves a different part of Brentford to the E8 & E2.I also like the idea of the E7 now also picking up from stop F along with the E8s, E2s & 112s. same for the N7/N11 London bound. The 226/297 are better off starting from the green (stops D & Z4), as they have to go that way, they can now stand at their respective stops.

I must say that the pavement can be pretty crowded and chaotic at the proposed new stop for 65.
