Would he be vilified more if he was a greedy landlord owning dozens of properties? He rented his house rather than owning a valuable asset that grows in value by roughly £600 a day based on an average Ealing house price. Isn't that socialism?

He didn't like the neighbours, having complained recently that they were all on benefits. Should have moved somewhere with a nice class of neighbour while he had the chance.

Apparently it was his family home for 30 years , long before he became a union leader ,maybe he liked the neighbours, some of us think of a house more as a home . Bottom line is , more affordable homes need to be built . He never held a driving licence either , I suppose there was something wrong with that. Bob Crow RIP.

Never always saw eye to eye with the man, but he is the one union leader who makes sure his members are at least on a living wage, not the £6.31 per hour a lot of members in other unions have to struggle on.Let's face it, who off of the top of their head can name another union leader without looking it up.

I was saddened when I heard the news. Though I don't share his politics and he could be 'strike happy' I did admire Bob and always felt if I was in a union I'd want someone like Bob fighting my corner. I used to be in the MSF years ago but they were pretty useless from what I recall.RIP Bob.

My brother-in law was on the same cruise-liner as him recently. He is a devout UKIP member but he said that as an individual he was very pleasant and agreeable.

No more tube strikes then. They get paid too much anyway. Average wage is £35K. More than nurses get and they still want more for doing zilch.GREED, GREED, GREED.If they want to strike again, then sack them. I am sure there are plenty of people to replace them.

I liked him because he was the only Union leader left who held his ground and he fought very very hard. Most of us are stuck in jobs where our employers walk all over us and we have no voice at all.
