Mothering Sunday is on 30th March. Any ideas please for a really pleasant and unusual gift for a truly special loving Mum?

I might just be a bit too long in the tooth for adoption Gerry lol

Thanks Tracey and Ben, its settled now - my family are going to treat this deserving Mum to an all-day full body make-over ie: hair, face, nails, hands etc then a Carluccios dinner for two. She's a special Mum who desreves this Mothering Day treat. Thanks for the ideas.

How about inviting her to a walking tour of Ealing with Tony Purton? Alternatively I am available on that day.

A book of homemade vouchers, giving her treats such as an evening off, cleaning duties, shopping, cooking etc done for her for a week, I know when mine were young I certainly would have appreciated them

That's a capital idea, thanks Nigel.

Something to which she would not normally 'treat' herself perhaps.A pampering day at a spa?

Of course not Susan - its just that we know a wonderful younger Mum who deserves a special treat. Still require some ideas please folks.
Are you saying that your mother is still alive, Gerry?!
