Border Control Police

I saw an "Immigration Detention Department" van (with police blue and white markings ) in Milton Road, off Greenford Avenue, this morning.  It was parked on the pavement (whatever next; vehicles on the pavement) next to Castle Estate Agents.Anyone know any more?

Yet another law not being enforced, where does it stop?A bit of joined-up thinking needed given that the "£10,000 per illegal worker" fines would pay for more officers to actually enforce the law.

I understand that the one-time Sitar restaurant --now a bookies-- opposite the Co-op in South Ealing was closed after a raid by the border police who carted off all its kitchen staff never to be seen again. The irony is that the co-owner of the restaurant was a practicing barrister who does both defense and prosecution work!

There is also a well known eatery on St. Mary's Rd that is non too picky about the legal status of some employees.

There will always be demand for unskilled labour as shop keepers will want to pay as little as possible. If you could choose to pay £2/hr or £6.50 hr, we all know which one they would pay. As illegal immigrants are prepared to work for next to nothing, then you can expect every single grocers and restaurant in west Ealing and Hanwell to be employing illegal immigrans. It is a fact of life and I am sure Border police know this but are just short staffed to do anything about it. Go to Southall and every high street cafe or food business are at it.

This week's Gazette reports that an illegal immigrant from Sri Lanka was indeed working in the Greenford Avenue branch of Londis and subsequently has now been detained.

There are loads of videos on this subject matter on YouTube.Just do a search for UK Border Control and Immigration. The fibs being told by certain individuals trying to enter the UK ..or already working illegally in the UK... is most enlightening and disturbing.

If this is a new way of restricting the growth of Estate agents, then rock on the Border Control Police;-.Do I otherwise need to know more?
