Abandoned shop/restaurant on Northfields Ave

There is an abandoned restaurant on Northfields Avenue near Lammas Park. It is on the junction of Windermere Road and Northfields Ave and the sign says Central London Grai? Grill Bar. Does anyone have any idea who owns this or what is happening with it?

I know the house in Elers road which has been left to rot. Looks like the Bates Motel. There is an Old burnt out car in the driveway and the windows haven't been cleaned in over 50 years. There is only one old lady who lives there. Wonder what the history is about the house. Next door to the house is the nursing home which has been empty now for over 8 years. Shame really as that nursing home has over 30 bedrooms and could be put to good use. It was on the market for £2million but got no interest.

Until relatively recently it was not technically abandoned as somebody was maintaining the plants in the window.The plants died a couple of years ago now though.

Abandoned properties like this one in Northfield Ave, especially if its been abandoned and neglected are spookey. There's a large house nearby(Elers Road) left to deteriorate for years equally weird - rather like Bates Motel in many ways - spookey in the extreme. There's usually always a sad tale behind these long empty properties - perhaps as Jim says - 'nuf said.
