Maybe I'm over fussy but I don't think we have any exceptional pubs in Ealing. My preferred spots:- The Rose and Crown, St Mary's Road, W5 - I take visitors to London here as an example of a good London Pub. The quality of the food varies hugely from one visit to the next though.- The Drayton Court Hotel, The Avenue, W13. Massive garden and the beer is ok.- The Kent (now The Duke of Kent), Scotch Common, W13. Too noisy when busy and overpriced but friendly and with a lovely garden- The Viaduct, Uxbridge Rd, W7. The food is good and there is a good range of sports shown. The main dining area is away from the TVs.- The Forester, Leighton Road, W13. Very good Guinness and a choice of 2 or 3 areas to sit in.- The Plough, Northfields Ave, W13. A pleasant pub but it gets incredibly crowded.I used to really rate the Haven Arms and the Wheatsheaf, both in Haven Lane, W5 but imo they have both lost character in recent years and got a lot busier. It's years since I visited either the Kings Arms in The Grove, W5 or the New Inn, St Mary's Rd, W5 - does anyone know what they're like nowadays?
