Anyone else not had their plastic recycling collected?

It looks like my whole street (Cumberland Road in Hanwell) still hasn't had its plastic picked up - it's usually picked up on Mondays so they're more than two days late. They were late last week too. Is there some kind of strike on? Are any other roads having the same problem? I've reported it to the council. Want to spend my spare time doing more entertaining things than worrying about rubbish! Puzzling. Not sure if it's a coincidence or not, but after I reported it the plastic was picked up today, hurray.

The waste collection service is back to normal in the Walpole Park/Culmington Road area, thank goodness.

plastics weren't collected in Osterley Park View Road last week, but were collected this week.  On a slightly different topic, the Christmas Tree collection doesn't seem to work either, as it's been sitting outside my property for the last two weeks and hasn't been taken, and the service ends tomorrow... Very irritating.

Food waste was collected a day late this week, not sure why.

They were daft enough to collect only mine and ignore the rest of Southdown Ave. Had to report the whole street over the phone as no one else in the street had...

Thanks Philippa, I used the online form to report it yesterday. It only lets you report one address at a time, but hopefully they won't be daft enough to leave all the other plastic bags behind! We'll see...

Thanks Philip. Our schedule must be back to normal as all the other recycling was picked up on the usual day, just not the plastic.

I hope you reported it to the Council.There is an online form.  However I've always in the past used customers@ealing.gov.uk and do report the whole street or you may find that they just come and collect yours (or so I've heard).:)

Is your schedule back to normal now? I know that ours was still on unusual days for the first 2 weeks after Christmas, but is now back to normal. And no, no strike that I'm aware of and everything in our road was taken this week. Anyway I've always found the council are very quick to sort out problems like this, I'd be surprised if it's still there this afternoon.
