Ealing worst performing!

Front page."research obtained from the Food Standards Agency (FSA) ) has placed Ealing at number two in a list of worst performing."Why is the Council's chief lawyer not checking that the checkers are doing their job. Why does the portfolio holder not bother with this issue?Is dead cat tasty?

Did you mean you are not ashamed of living in Ealing but you are ashamed of the failings emanating from parts of this Council?A change is needed.

We feel ashamed that we live in Ealing. Our Council should feel ashamed too - what a shambles.

Last week in the Gazzette!A Council spokeswoman said: "It is unfortunate that we are being compared to authorities with far fewer food premises, including boroughs with a very different profile of complex food businesses. Public safety is our priority".If one Borough has one person for say 280 food outlets then if Ealing has 2800 outlets perhaps they need in the region of 10 staff or more even if strange cultural habits do not pay enough regard to British law and guidance.Does the borough solicitor know what's going on? What enforcement steps is she taking? Is the spokesperson of a lame disposition?
