New Persian restaurant.

Has anyone tried the new Persian restaurant in Bond Street W5 - its called Faanoos Persian restaurant? It replaced the excellent Spanish Tapas Bar and Grill La Siesta.  I believe there are two other Faanoos restaurants in West London - Chiswick I think, but not certain.

We've just returned home after trying the new Persian restaurant in Bond Street W5.(Faanoos Persian Grill and restaurant). 'twas good and we'll go again. This is what we had Simon: Ordered two glasses of their pinot grigio while we studied the comprehensive menu. Had their Persian naans which he cooked in their tandoori-like oven in the front of the restaurant, with grilled aubergine puree with tomato, egg and garlic for starters.For mains we shared a large oval dish of grilled fillet of marinated lamb called Chelo Kebab Chenjeh served with mixed salad and saffron rice. I had another glass of PG.Oh two sauces were presented with the mains - yogurty with garlic and ground chilli and other ingredients.Shared a plate(5 pieces) of Baklavas.Coffees to follow.I'm feeling sleepy now - cheers.

Their joojeh kebab has to be the best I've eaten outside of Iran yum

Watch this space Tracey - I'm very tempted to try Faanoos - in fact I think I'll try it for lunch tomorrow, as its gonna be a fine sunny day.

Your right about there being one in chiswick Gerry, but I haven't tried either yet
