Perfect stollen cake.
Had my first stollen cake this Christmas last night and it was perfect. To make it even more delightful, we had it during the finals of "Strictly" - wonderful evening! It was a particularly good stollen, which we bought from M&S - it had mixed dried fruits, candied peel, lovely soft marzipan and tasty Christmas spices...cinnamon and cloves etc all sprinkled with iceing sugar - sheer delight!
