Wonderful gift.

My wife told me a heartwarming story. It seems a middle aged man living in Ealing developed kidney disease and desperately required a donor kidney, but none were available of the precise matching needed, despite a long wait. Eventually, things were getting very serious and vitally desperate, his wife gave up one of her kidneys(by chance a perfect matching one) and her husband is now reasonably well.

Sorry Christine, you guessed right, I don't watch Eastenders, though I used to know their exec producer, so I don't know who Mr Dexter is. My wife and I are avid "Strictly" fans.

Take it you don't watch Eastenders?  It has been a storyline for a while now, doubt it will have a happy ending, the bit I saw had the recipient being hit by the donor.Is it me or does anyone else have difficulty understanding what the boy Dexter is saying?Hope the Ealing bloke gets well soon.

The storylines of the many TV soaps get more and more improbable each year and this story about giving one of your kidneys wouold make a wonderful episode or three.  The other nice thing about it is that I know the person in question and she a very good hearted and generous lady.
