Worried of Ealing

Each time people ask for a recommendation, one or two are posted but not very many.For eg I asked about decent dry cleaners that can iron and Luke asked about a decent solicitor and between us we got one reply.Is that a sad indictment of our Ealing?

I have only used a local solicitor for swearing oaths in the last 25 years.I tend to do all own mending and ironing.  I used to get some of my husband's chinos dry cleaned simply because I hate ironing them so very much.I don't think that people do any ironing if they can help it nowadays.  I bought non-iron shirts with that idea in mind!  I spin hard and then put the shirts in the dryer for 15 min then hang out on a hanger quickly.  When I reorganise my garden again I'll get the washing line back out.  Blowing in the breeze also takes the creases out and saves electricity.I don't like ironing so do as little as possible while listening to the radio.The Dry Cleaners next to South Ealing station I believe have an ironing service but I've never used it. There is also a lady there who does repairs.So I'm sorry I can't really help you in your quest.

Sorry you feel that way Simon.I could not really give an answer to either of the questions because I have used  Prince Evans for a purchase and I found them fine it only took 3 months which I find ludicrous  should really only take 30 days.And as for Dry Cleaners I have used several in Ealing and they all have done the job I expected. There is one on Haven Green near Tesco that advertises ironing and repairs but I can’t recommend because I have never used them.There are a lot of people that read this site but very few post which is a shame. Please don’t be put off by getting no response as I am sure Gerry, Nigel , Phillippa, Tony or many of the other good people can help.
