Scores on the doors

I've being doing a few deliveries as it's busy at the restaurant and I'm surprised at how many people don't bother putting house numbers on their property.  And when you get a row of houses and none of them have numbers it's a real pain in the backside trying to locate the right address. Then there are houses divided into flats. So many have bells that don't work or have flat numbers not shown. God only knows how they get post and parcels delivered correctly. I'm sure in Australia they made it law to show house numbers.If you don't have a number on your door can you tell me why  (and don't say  because it says Dunroamin lol)

I sympathise with you - for my sins I used to be the Secretary of a local sports club and that entailed delivering notices and letters to members. Many houses didn't have numbers displayed - most annoying, often houses converted into multiple occupancies.
