I agree Philippa, the best Christmas pressies are activities and experiences. The bestest one given to me was a visit to a London hotel to have "Traditional English afternoon tea", for four people. The plates of sandwiches brought to you by a polite uniformed flunkey, followed by a varied selection of cakes, all washed down by tea of your choice served from a porcelain pot and dainty silver spoons...bliss for an hour!
