Ealing Today meet up

Hello Ealing!I hope this finds you all in good shape whether you are washing your wollen jumpers or castigating ironers who are just not up to the task. I would like to remind everyone that all members from the community forum on Ealing Today have agreed (amazing, but true!) that it would be a good idea to meet up for a chat, debate, discussion etc as well as a putting-a-face-to-the-name session.The meeting takes place this coming Saturday.Meeting details:Date: Saturday, 16th NovemberTime: 11.30amVenue: Cafe Grove, The Grove W5 (just past The King's Arms [normally wooden benches will be outside the restaurant])I do hope to see as many as can make it at the meeting. It will be exciting stuff and long lasting friendships or not may come from it! A warm welcome will be extended to everyone no matter what form of transport you arrive on! I realise that you may have other things on, but I do hope that this meeting can be the start of something bigger, especially given that the constituents passionately care about Ealing and the community as a whole. This is something that we can really hold onto.For all those that can make it, everyone will have the chance to have their say, and at the same time enjoy Ealing's friendly and wonderful people. To gauge numbers, it may be a good idea to reply to this thread so all of us can have an idea how many to expect.Look forward to meeting as many of you as possible on Saturday.

Sorry to have missed you Philippa - my wife and I were meeting our son and his daughter for a Spanish lunch at the new Le Rueda tapas bar and restaurant in Bond St W5. We had tapas and later some mixed paella washed down with white plonk, while you Ben and the others were having coffees in Cafe Grove. CU at the next meet-up.

I fear I'm not going to be able to make it. My husband got shanghaied yesterday at the tube station by our former neighbour who was insistent that we come round and look at the her new house tomorrow morning.Have fun.
