I'm sorry, but under the rules you will now have to incur a penalty of two points (on your licence) as you have been found guilty under the 1867 Navigation by way of Pub Names Act - subsection 67 (ii)(b) - "an offence shall have been committed if a person does knowingly, or unknowingly, refer to a location, being not in possession of the full address of said location, without reference to the nearest pub".In your case this would have been the North Star, and a suitable navigational steer to have offered might have been "just down from the North Star, on the left, same side of the road".
