Army recruitment age?
Should the minimum age for recruitment into the British Army be raised to 18 or even 21 years of age? Is 16 a bit too young to instill fighting(and killing) skills? When I did my National Service, we did basic training, which were marching drills and elementary fighting(and killing) skills and other service disciplines. I must say, I was petrified at the thought of sticking a bayonet into someone's gut! And one was taught to scream and shout at your enemy as you did so - frightening stuff.
