Well reading the mail yesterday, it seems that whilst he was examining a dead body in Murder in the Mews (1989), he failed to notice one of the fingers moving. Therefore not dead, he probably went on to "frame" an innocent person for this crime, maybe they spent years in prison, perhaps they are still there, in a cell for a crime they didn't commit and all because Poirot doesn't know the difference between dead and alive. I wonder how many other miscarriages of justice he has been responsible for. Like I said earlier, it will come out.
