Big London energy switch

Is this switching energy supplier going to mean a saving of energy costs? I wonder!  Ealing Borough has combined with 17 other London boroughs to help residents reduce(hopefully) their energy costs.  The combined enterprise claims to save a resident on average between £60 to £200 per annum. Has anyone been successful in reducing their ever escalating energy bills?

Returning to the thread subject Gerry I think the main problem was the privatisation of the utility companies all those years ago. They are now in foreign hands, all of them I think and this smacks of 'Jam today' for shareholders and of selling off the family silver for the benefit of the few. Of all the privatisations that went on, gas and electricity should stayed nationalised imo. Seriously re-vamped yes, but still owned ' in house'.Switching to save a few quid now and having to do it again next year smacks of changing deck chairs on the Titanic to me.

I don't have a clue how it's done Asha but there are devious swines who think it's big and clever to try to ruin someone's reputation or to insult them. They are internet hardmen, keyboard warriors who are just cowards.

It is good to see the miserable interloper masquerading as Eric Leach has had his remarks removed. I know of one such miserable and cowardly berk who posts under different names on this and other forums(and has been banned more times than Oz.) and may even be a regular poster on here now... Some people get their kicks from assuming other peoples' identities and by assuming false names. They are disingenuous cowards. I know he is a coward because he bottled a 'meeting' with me once when after he had insulted me and pushed the envelope too far. I though it was out of character for Eric but my comments stand for whoever it was. Btw Eric, have you been involved in any business or issues related to Southall lately?

You are entirely out of order Eric, if that is indeed you. There is no need for your rudeness. Are you the same Eric Leach who is celebrated as a community champion on the home page? If so what do you expect to gain from comments like this. It would seem that the acclaim has gone to your head.
