Freak weather causes standstill in Ealing today

It is a good job it is half term this week because otherwise schools would have sent the children home anyway.This morning, all the buses (E2 and E3) were suspended along northfields avenue. They have now resumed but limited service.All the trains from Brentford station into waterloo were cancelled and still cancelled.It is a complete mayham out there.It seems whenever there is wind, snow, rain everything comes to a standstill.

There was a storm didn't you notice?South west Trains had over 50 line-blocking tress on their network. There was a load of tree debris at the top of Swyncombe Avenue hence the E2/E3 problems."It seems whenever there is wind, snow, rain everything comes to a standstill".Did it? There were some transport disruptions. The shops were all open, there wasn't a plague of locusts.
