Kedgeree in Ealing?

Which cafe/restaurant in Ealing would one get a good kedgeree for breakfast?  I've asked in several eateries - some propietors haven't even heard of kerdgeree - they ask with surprise "Kedger-what?".  It doesn't seem to feature in any catering course curriculum.  I love kedgeree - its almost as good as a full fry-up!

Maggie's has replaced Pizza Hut on the Broadway.  It looks like a very modern "diner" style restaurant that bills itself as 'Vintage Beats & Breakfast', whatever that means.

Just noticed on Maggie's menu that they do indeed have Kedgeree (and a veggie version too)

Thanks Gerry,I shall have "my staff" ;0) give it a try.  I'd have loved to have visited Mrs.Cranstons' establishment,sadly it's gone the way of many fine eateries in Glasgow,though there are a few still left around the "Lanes".http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catherine_Cranston

You have to add a good splash of Worcestershire sauce.I don't know anywhere in Ealing that serves kedgeree though Gerry.

Yes Tony, I've tried darling Delia's version of kedgeree. It's a good one, but not as good as mine - I add Gentleman's Relish and liberal drops of Worstershire sauce to my version -  it gives it an extra ummph! Each to his own!Incidentally, I used to have kedgeree in Cranston's Tearooms in Glasgow in the late 40s, before taking in a matinee film - happy days!
