We used to watch every episode of Eastenders - it was an obsession for our family. Haven't watched it since Den and Angie got divorce papers at Christmas 1986! They were our favourite characters.

Is it still going?I must admit to not watching a single episode since a 'two-hander' with Lou Beale and Ethel - must be twenty years ago.I have caught the last couple of minutes a few times while waiting for something else but found it awfully depressing and 'wooden'.I can also proudly say that I have never watched a whole episode of Coronation Street.
