Lantern Restaurant Ealing Common

This Greek restaurant seems to have always been there but driving by tonight I noticed it was closed and in darkness. Anyone know why?

I now have an idea. According to my daughter it has been closed for ages and there has been a closure notice pinned to the doors for some time. She described the interior looking like the 'Marie Celeste' with plates and glasses still on the tables.Perhaps the power supply to the premises has now been terminated and that is why, some time after closing, it is finally dark.

No idea but it has never been the same since the wonderful Michael Koutas passed away.We used to go regularly but have only been once since he passed in Glory. Somehow, the 'spark' seemed to have gone; turning it from a convivial family atmosphere into just another 'eaterie'.
