Party venue needed

Smallish party venue needed for 50 th party on Sat 9 th November. Function room above pub is ok but must be in w5/w13/w3 area and allow a band to play. Any ideas?

Thank you all for the great suggestions. I'm going to keepthese for next time. This time we managed to negotiate something with The Rocket in Churchfield Rd, Acton. Not a private room but a section near the stage will be reserved for us. Quite like it in there and the staff are so friendly. Should be a good one. Gettting my dancing shoes on!

Olivera, I'm sure the proprietor of Osteria del Portico Giovanni would welcome a lively few sambas, salsas and rumbas, not to mention strains of "The Girl from Ipenema" to amuse and serenade his other customers! Give Giovanni a ring and ask him - he's a very reasonable and accommodating restauranteur!

The Italian sounds lovely but since the room is above the restaurant I'm sure he wouldn't allow a very loud Brazilian 5 piece band up there?

If you require a central venue for a smallish group celebration, try Osteria del Portico(the Italian restaurant next to Carluccio's on The Green W5). They have a room upstairs separated from the public rooms - very private. Giovanni the propietor is very flexible re how the room is arranged and will provide various eats to suit your party and your budget. We've used OdP several times for varying functions and so have our friends. Giovanni is contactable on 8840 3297 or visit him at 7A The Green, Ealing  W5.
