Steam trains are a lot more common around London than people think. There are two companies that operate from different sites at Southall (West Coast Railway Company & Loco Services), both independent of each other. www.uksteam.info and click on the word times (right hand column) will bring an up to date list of what is running (see also loco movements same right hand side column).This is an hour's worth of what I've managed to film in the last two years. http://youtu.be/s-FwZw-Ub4M (much of it local).Just today 22/10/2013 there was several steam movements, one a tour from Kings Cross behind a class A4 (60009 Union of South Africa), this returns later behind another steam loco, plus two movements from Southall (one of which has 3 steam locos at the head!
