CCTV parks where no one else is allowed
Wadsworth Road is a busy road serving an industrial area and is a minefield of lorries, fork lifts, and the general public trying to visit one of the many businesses in the area. One of the most common complaints is that of parking. I know people who have been ticketed for simply stopping on one side to let a passenger out. If I parked in the same manner, I would be served a ticket, so why is a council van exempt? The fact is, the CCTV van is causing an obstruction and should like everyone else be made to park legally. I have on many an occasion been forced to stop behind this van to allow a large lorry to mount the pavement in order to get by. It's not safe. The van parks there merely to make money out of lost drivers, school run parents, and local businesses and I'm thoroughly annoyed at Ealing Council's lame response and refusal to admit that the way the van is parked is a problem.
