anyone remember Maxi's?

I was out with an old friend the other night and she was reminiscing about a young man she stepped out with who had a restaurant (Chinese I think ) called Maxi's.  But she couldn't recall where it was exactly. Anyone?

Yes Boston manor road rang an immediate  bell - though my friend insists it was called Maxies...and had no connection with any other watering hole with a similar name !

Well remembered Jim.It was on Boston Parade and the food was wonderful; so good that I had forgotten all about it :-)

The friend could be thinking on Maxims Wine Bar on Boston Manor Roadon that parade opposite BM Station.It was Chinese,  did good food (limited menu),had pianist entertaining and was related to Maxims in Knightsbridge.

Locally, there is Maxims on Northfield Avenue but there is a chain of Chinese restaurants called Maxi's in LeedsTake your pick.
