Do you remember Laura?
In response to the article at http://www.ealingtoday.co.uk/default.asp?section=info&page=eaparrot001.htm - I don't remember Laura, but in the early 50s there was a parrot at Brent Lodge Park ("the Bunny Park") who used to reduce me to helpless giggles by saying"What's the time? Half past nine.Hang your knickers on the line!" In my defence, I was very young at the time.
