Financial Advisors

Can anyone recommend a Financial Advisor in or near the Ealing area who is good at their job, honest and talks plain English not some language that is only spoken in their profession. I hate all this stuff and need to have plain, comprehensible language so that I know what's what?

Check to see if the advisor you contact is a member of CISI.  He would have the letters of ACSI or MCSI after their names.  You also can check their name or company name on the FCA website.

If your financial advice involves needing any tax or estate planning then I cannot recommend David Turner of Johnsons Accountants highly enoughWhilst not strictly financial advisors I've found their help on specific accountancy and general finance excellentDEFINETELY avoid random google searches for a FA as there's too many dodgy dealers out there!!!Good luck

However much you may hate 'all this stuff', Rosemary, could I recommend that you read up a bit about it before putting yourself in the hands of even the most competent and honest advisor?That way, you will have a much better idea of what they are talking about and whether it's suitable for you, though, fortunately, the days when financial advisors put you into unsuitable investments just to get their commission are gone.If you enter 'personal finance' into Amazon's search box, you'll find several basic books on the subject.
