It's the fact that many of these homes and in particular the new ones are marketed in the Middle East and Far East and sold pre build at huge discounts.It's rife in Brentford and happening in Ealing too, previously it was generally contained to Central London which is now completely exclusive and is gradually cleansing the area of local residents.Of course Councils quietly love it as they get the council tax in but without having to provide it's services. In fact it makes them money, but is it right morally or socially?No.These develppers and marketing methods need to be outlawed and with the utmost urgency.The housing crisis is being made far worse than it need be and much of it is because of the big profits controlled supply and demand can create. We cannot just sit back and allow such developers to be allowed to control markets in such a way and planning rules need to be changed.The crisis already affects those who are less fortunate, but now it is far more affluent groups the next generation of tory voters included who are being forced out of their home towns and districts.
