Chaos for miles around Hanger Lane Gyratory August 7
For part of the afternoon of August 7, a gas leak closed the southern part of the gyratory opposite Hanger Lane, both directions of the underpass, and Hanger Lane Central Line station (and I assume also the entire West Ruislip branch of the line). According to the TFL website this changed to only two out of four traffic lanes closed later, with all other parts re-opened, and this morning all clear again. I hope the total chaos was really neccessary. I was expecting roadworks to continue for some time after.
