Just be careful not to cross-thread the screws when putting them back. A quarter turn of the screw anti-clockwise before screwing it home 'seats' it properly. On uPVC windows the screws go into either a plate or an insert in the frame, if you cross-thread this it's a swine to disassemble and replace.Don't let that put you off though, replacing handles, often with a more secure type, is a really easy job.
