Is renting a room tax free Susan? I always though you had to declare it as income and, depending on your tax coding it may be taxed as such. I could be wrong.Anyway, renting a driveway should be no-one else's business but it may be a good idea to iron out a few difficulties before they arise, such as the remote possibility that the car gets damaged/stolen , who's responsible etc.
