Who is your favourite James Bond?

What made me ask this question? well today while listening to the radio news, when Roger Moore was being interviewed, he said in his opinion, he thought that Daniel Craig was the best and even better than Sean Connery.Well I disagree. I have never liked Daniel Craig. I pained me to watch 'Skyfall'. I was hoping that the baddies would kill him!Also, i never liked Roger Moore either. For me, the best and sexiest James Bond has always been Sean Connery. He is just a class of his own. There is just something about him which makes all his James Bond movies stand out and you want to watch them over and over again.

He's in a few more scenes than just that one, having known him so many years I suppose, I notice him more :-)

Craig, definitely, although I thought Pierce Brosnan was quite good, and at least they didn't make him sing.

Good luck to him, although in Skyfall he was only seen fleetingly as one of the heavies on the bat walking towards Bond as they approached the main baddie's island (which was, as I found out when I tried to find the location, entirely CGI generated).

One of the Baddies in Skyfall is a local lad Adebayo Bolaji, a former Drayton Manor pupil he was also the first subway ghost in ghost the musical when it opened in the west end, and is now in The Colour purple

Robert Carlyle was good as a baddie imo. Mr Wint and Mr Kidd were memorable.

I've forgotten his name too.Rosa Klebb was sinister and ugly. Odd Job was sinister, ugly and strong. Both were first rate baddies imo.

I always liked the baddie who had the jaws teeth. Can't remember his name.

Connery and Moore, in his earlier Bond films. Craig too much of an unsophisticated thug. Dalton tried to bring a bit of acting class to the role but was ok. Brosnan was ok too.

A baddies tie for me.Javier Bardem as Raoul Silva in 'Skyfall' and Christopher Walken as Max Zorin in 'A View to a Kill'.Psychopaths the pair of them and far more 'threatening' than Blofeld and his ilk.

Daniel Craig for me as he has the 'vulnerability' and 'damaged goods' persona that exists in the books.George Lazenby - tried but couldn't cut it as an actor.Piers Brosnan - let down by some poor screenplays, probably hired because of his profile in the USA brought Bond into the modern era.Roger Moore - played it for laughs and did no justice to the character.Sean Connery - an actor of his time and a good actor to boot.Lastly, and honourable mention for David Niven in Casino Royale, played it for laughs, always looked uncomfortable but still memorable as Sir James Bond.Timothy Dalton - great in The Living Daylight and that's about it.
