Two Young asian or arabic looking boys trying door handles Vallis Way 29th July 00.47am

These people were caught by me this morning via our cctv i came out to them they made off towards ealing broadway through the park i have images of them and a registration of a POLO (Black) that was waiting for them registration R168 XOO It was reported to the police who turned up quickly while they were probably in the park but im sorry to say they didnt go in to the park they just drove around for a hour then off they went this is becoming to regular something has to be done about it maybe a text alert system when something happens it texts all registered people to let know something has happened so people are aware there is a problem

Charles I have had to fork out thousands in security on cctv alarms etcWe have also now purchased a industrial unit to house our vehicles so only my car will be at home. So instead of coming straight home at night i have to go drop the van i use then go home, as i have a young family it means less time with them

I really don't care if he posts them online. In fact, perhaps he should attach the pictures to every tree in Ealing with the caption criminal.  Maybe that would prove as Tom says that libel and defamation laws don't apply in this case as they are obviously guilty and that the courts got The Lord McAlpine case all wrong.  Go for it Mike. -- hit the papers as well.

I don't know what it takes to get the police interested!Back in 2004, after a series of petty thefts, we installed CCTV to monitor the entranmces of my local church.Another theft occured, clearly captured on CCTV of a pair of speakers and some candles. We had images of a chap waling into the church with an obviously empty shoulder bag and emerging a couple of minutes later with a full bag.We called the police whose response to being given a DVD of the incident along with stills taken from the DVD was essentially "call us if you see him again....we'll write to you with a crime number for your insurance company".You couldn't make such total disregard, and lack of concern, up!

I will continue to post these on line and if i get removed from site ill print them and post them locally its a joke on the footage you can clearly see them trying over 3 cars and on the camera you can see no gloves so finger printsi know it prbably wouldnt go to court but if there arrested and processed there in the system then if there seen stop and see what there up to i even have a registration of a vehicle they were dropped off by still no interest from our local police

Mark isn't alone in his view that the local police are useless.On our road we get no end of interest in cars at night and thefts from side alleys. There an endless emails from the safer neighbourhood team who are apparently "working with you for a safer london" but unfortunately this "work" seems to largely consist of sitting in the police station sending emails asking residents to let them know about attempted crime but definitely doesn't include actually answering the phone, returning voicemails or acknowledging emails that describe exactly what's going on.The Met and the safer neighbourhood teams are a disgrace - they don't respond to locals or local crime and if they want to provide the equivalent of an email / secretarial service for reporting crime should be paid as such.

any laws against posting there pictures on line from post them er and over if it catches them, id be happy for the police to try and stop me as they wont do anything about the car thefts or from them Still nothing from the local police after the police men that turned up told me they would deal with me and get cctv footage what a joke soft Britain wonder why all the villians love the place

Not sure theres any laws about posting a picture of a person on a website, public or otherwise. And I very much doubt that person would have a problem with it as they`d have to say "Yes, that was me trying them car door handles.."

i have the video footage of them trying at least 3 car door handles before trying my car then van which i caught him doing as he tried it i was looking over the wall at him he was shocked but not bothered until i came out of my door after them this needs to be addresses does anyone have to local police commanders number of email

Would suggest you print them large, with a "You are being watched!" caption and stick them all over the street!

the funny thing was that i chased them in to the scotch corner park just as police turned up and they didnt even go in to the park i offer the cctv footage and it was dismissed  he asked me why wasnt my van wasnt parked in a yard when i replied that i cant afford to due to the thefts they see car crime as just petty its a joke i now have decided to not ring them anymore buy deal with it myself i have lived in this part of ealing for 2 years and we have had around 10 incidents since moving in

2 young men regularly check door handles and windows in Gunnersbury park. About 10 o clock most mornings. No shame even when they know they are being watched.

Sounds like the little cherubs that piss us off at Ealing Keith.They'll get theirs!Nigel,I believe our General Mgr speaks to the police regularly about this. Irrespective of whether those that park clear the cars in order that nothing's visibile, they'll still have a cheeky go at a car for the hell of it.

This happened at Perivale Golf Club a few weeks ago. A white kid and a black kid, both on bikes looking in cars etc.

They have many escape routes and are quite brazen about their activity and frankly the Police are not interested in this.Well they ought to be, this is criminal activity.Mar/Bud, I suggest you contact Commander Andy Rowell, the Metropolitan Police Borough Commander for Ealing, and keep contacting him until the problem is resolved.

Hi Mark,I'm a member at Ealing Golf Club which is not too far away from Vallis Way and we have a real problem with this. Youths regularly come into our car park on push bikes and scout around and cars are regularly getting broken into. They have many escape routes and are quite brazen about their activity and frankly the Police are not interested in this
