Swimming pools

Can anyone recommend a decent local swimming pool for early morning swimming. A lot of public baths have disappeared, but joining a gym is an option. I used to go to Golds, but signs like 'please do not use pool if you have diarrhea' put me off

The spelling is wrong - it should be diarrhoea - but the sentiment is correct and sound, but I'm not so sure that I would want to be reminded in such a way.
