Book London Eye in advance on line (cheaper, and you won't have to queue). The Lowry exhibition is currently pretty busy, and again, you will need to book in advance if you don't want to queue. If she likes art, any of the big London art galleries - the National (National Portrait gallery is also interesting, and usually less crowded), Tate Britain, the Courtauld, etc. Living in Australia, the greenness of Britain always comes as a surprise. I'd take her for a walk along the Thames from Kew Bridge to Richmond, which is beautifully leafy. Not quite on the river and therefore less frantic, the White Swan in Old Palace Lane, Richmond is a friendly pub that majors on freshly cooked food. Or walk further on and visit Ham House and have something to eat in the garden and come back by bus.
