Rats

Hello,Occasionally we have a rat die under our floorboards. We then end up having to seek it out and dispose of it which is a very nasty business. We have had work done to our property so fairly convinced they are not coming in at ground level. So our only thought is that they are somehow coming in through the sewer and drain pipes. I'm still not sure how as the is no evidence in terms of smells etc. suggesting a broken drain. Does anyone have any experience of this and would a drain CCTV make sense?Any drain specialists you could recommend for this problem?

I noticed a hole close to a modification made when a house was owned by the local council. When I dug down I discovered that an old sewer pipe had been disconnected but not capped, so rats were coming out from the sewer.

there probably not coming through the drains maybe next door in the voids of the floor we use a electric battery powered trap that stuns them and kills instantly in trap so easy to dispose of We charge £130 for 3 visits with traps left in place during this time We also inspect the property for holes and remedy these at small extra cost
