Best Sunday carvery in Ealing?

Which pub or restaurant in Ealing offers the best carvery on a Sunday? One with really tender roast beef and crispy Yorkshire puds, tasty roast pork 'n crackling with lots of red-currant jelly, lovely new season lamb with mint sauce and new potatoes or slices of succulent roast chicken and stoffing? Followed by dollops of spotty-dick and custard pudding?I fancy some comfort food this weekend.

it's a carvery, and you can have slices of beef, pork, lamb, ham, mix as you please

A good question. The carveries I like best of aa are the "eatasmuchasyoucan" type, as I'm a bit of a glutton. Better still are the ones that give you a glass of house wine as well! I'm also a bit of a "lush" on the quiet.

Best carvery that I have been to is at The Toby in Frimley near Camberley. it is really busy which means that there is a constant supply of really fresh vegetables to accompany the, normally four, joints of meat.

Ever so slightly off topic - there is an incredibly cheap carvery at the Crown pub at Ruislip Lido:http://www.crowncarveries.co.uk/thewatersedgeruislip/findus/From memory, it costs £5 or less.The food is not up to the standard of the best carveries I've had but the 2 or 3 times I've been there it's been consistently good.

The best Sunday lunch in Ealing (well, Hanwell) is the one created by my wonderful wife every other week. The second best is on the intervening weeks when I cook.The Sunday lunches at the London Apprentice are meant to be very good Gerry and the scenery is hard to beat.
