SAVE MARIE'S STORE
Developers have put in a planning application to demolish Marie's Store's in south Acton and to replace it with three flats offensively terming her shop an 'eyesore' in their application to Ealing's planning department. For 19 years Marie has been an unsung local hero to residents and her shop an essential hub for the local community. Join me and scores of others by objecting on line or in writing to the planning department - planning application reference pp/2013/1704 to be found under the planning applications search section. Details of the application ( in which the developers absurdly suggest Sainsburys is an adequate replacement for residents and community needs) can be found at the very bottom of the details page under an invitation to comment under relevant documents. Objections need to be registered quickly.
